Movement on SBIR Reauthorization

We have promising updates regarding the SBIR and STTR programs!

As reported by Politico and other sources on Wednesday February 26, lawmakers on the Senate Small Business Committee have introduced legislation to fast-track the reauthorization of the SBIR and STTR programs. This is a significant step forward.

Federal agencies remain strong allies and advocates for SBIR reauthorization, and we anticipate rapid movement once the legislation is passed. For example, some agencies may post active topics as early as the Wednesday following reauthorization.

While this is exciting news, it’s important to note that the reauthorization is not official yet. We’ll keep you informed with updates on our LinkedIn page, via email, and through a webinar to discuss any changes introduced in the bill.
